Hindi Sight Words (Game box)

My subject for the project is dyslexia for which I have designed a particular game, which acts as a solution for the kids who have dyslexia. The game is designed in the area of sight words. ‘Sight words’ is a common term in reading that has a variety of meanings. When it is applied to early reading instruction, it typically refers to the set of about 100 words that keeps reappearing on almost any page of text. “Who, the, he, were, does, their, me, be” are a few examples.

According to SightWords.com, sight words are words that should be memorized to help a child read and write. Learning sight words means that your child will be able to recognize them at a glance, and won’t need to break the words down letter-by-letter, thus making reading easier and faster.

For my elective project – I have designed the game of ‘Hindi sight words’ – after studying the regular English language sight words and focusing on pupils who come under the category of dyslexia.

This game I have designed with the intention of solving the problem of reading (dyslexia) and writing (dysgraphia) faced by candidates who have been suspected to have learning difficulties.

I have covered four ways of learning – visual learning, auditory learning, kinesthetic learning and tactile learning.

My final goal is to design such a game for kids, which can help candidates with learning disabilities to improve their learning skills of any language
The below image is the front and back cover design of the game box.

The color scheme, look, feel, typography and layout have been made with a childlike effect since it is mainly for children.
