Heart Sisters
Quality handmade dolls for the heart.
I was approached to come up with the Heart Sisters logo, Denielle wanted a nice natural feel something that was going to be as special as her handmade dolls. I started working on the foundation of her new logo, a custom bit of typography. Denielle wanted to be hands on and involved with the process the whole way through, after our first meeting I started sketching out as many different iterations, sending them off to Denielle to see if I was on the right track and tweaking them as required.
Settling on a nice free flowing script I started to add the flourishes, slightly thicker strokes in the centre of each character finished with little hearts to embellish the logotype and finally joining the words with a larger heart.
To continue the natural feel I experimented with watercolour to fill in the hearts, shifting through different effects and intensities before settling on a natural pink with peach overtones.
