HIDDEN GEMS

For this project, I developed an art direction style and identity that would allow room for variation within each of the pages. I chose a bright color pallete and used bold graphic styled type to give the site a modern playful feel. I selected photography that would enhance the visual storytelling in order to further draw the user into each of the places. By highlighting the adjectives that describe the places and providing the definition the aim was to give a preview of what sort of interaction the user could expect. By using moody photos paired with the bold type and colors I was reaching for the audience to connect emotionally.
