October last year, I painted this ocean waves over a supposed-to-be portrait which didn't turn out the way I wanted to. Since it was my first try at acrylic painting, it frustrated me very much that I couldn't get the colors right nor could I blend properly. After a few weeks, I decided to try again. I picked up the unfinished painting which looked like a mess, and painted this instead.

I gave this painting to my boyfriend as a gift.
