Problem Statement: Improvement of seat selection for Bookmyshow event section.
Step 1:
User would land upon the seat selection screen wherein he would get to see the detailed topology (structure of the seating & exit doors) of the theatre/ conference hall along with the cost and number of seats available for each class (distinctly represented with the colors) for the selected date. Alternatively, he could select a different date.
The status of the seats (occupied/ available) are visually represented so that the user can make informed decision about his selection. The selected ones represented with green. The user can make the choice of the seat based upon the proximity from the stage or cost.
Step2:
One the user chooses a class, the available seats will be filtered out and will be available for further selection. User can swipe and pinch to zoom the view of the conference room.
Step 3:
A momentary toast appears informing the user about the zoom in for expanded view which would further helps him to make the seat selection.
Step 4:
The zoomed in view would show him the precise view of seating arrangement. However, he can see the entire topology in a preview which would also inform him about the section wherein he is making the seat selection.
User can make selection here or further navigate to the other rows.
Step 5:
Once the user selects the seat, it will be highlighted in the preview mode which would get him a gist the row and column of his selection and he can further proceed to the payment by clicking at the button showing cost of the selected seat.
