Revolution
is so last century
Next series of posters are dedicaded to the 100th anniversary of October Revolution in Russia.
Nowadays, in 2017, these posters have one important message to all people worldwide - "Revolution is so last century", so it`s better to find another way put up with each other.

Process
I chose three objects - attributes of the last century - that are now outdated and mostly out-of-use - old meat grinder, coffee mill and radioreceiver.
Some of the objects were found to make a photo, but others needed to be painted.
A hand-written font was chosen to depict that rebel spirit of protest against revolution (which is very revolution haha). First variants were made with ink.

Some fast portrait sketches of Lenin. My parents were very patient, watching me painting his portraits almost with a fire in my eyes
Some of the ideas were changing in process of the work, for example, the association with sandglass was simplified, so only a coffee mill left.
The next test by me for my parents was making photos of a meat grinder in a process. These meat slices look like leeches, aren`t they?
The new made-like-old radioreceiver waited many years before being noticed for needs of art.
And one sketch shows my poor attempts to draw a simple sign of a grinder. At last, I used a photography halfway.

Result
All of the human parts (hands and Lenin`s face) are doted. The font is written with a help of a computer mouse (phrase "Revolution is so last century" works as a background). The meaning of Radio-Lenin, I think, is useless to explain, but if you need, write in comments below.

Another variant of series. The inversion was used to a poster with the coffee mill. The meat grinder was changed absolutelly. A poster with Lenin stays untouched.

DevilLenin
Another single poster was made during the intensive design school by Golden Bee Academy in Kotor, Montentegro (January, 2017).
There were made some sketches using some tasks and tecniques (left-hand writting, drawing a portrait while not holding a paper, not looking on a paper, using objects or a word to depict a face, draw as a portrait exploded).
The value of this poster is that it is hand-made, using a computer only in the end for retouch and simple color correction.
A drawn face for future stencil.
See the details.
The phrase is also made with a help of a stencil and ink tank.
The phrase by Lenin: "We didn`t stop in picking off thousands of people".

It looks better on a fence, really! Street-exposure poster!
