ZUMBAligiran (Zumba Para sa Kapaligiran), a project of One Baby, One Tree and ASEAN Green Power, campaigns for a healthier lifestyle
and a greener environment. All proceeds of the activity will be used for tree planting, installation of a school vertical garden ("School Trash Gardening") and distribution of health kits to our kababayans in Brgy. Batongbuhay, Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro. On top of these, the teams will also donate computer sets to Bonifacia Legaspi Memorial National High School (Mindoro).
**One Baby, One Tree and ASEAN Green Power is a collaboration of two multinational teams which participated in the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Generation EARTH Workshop sponsored by the U.S. Department of State in April 2015 in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The workshop and exchange initiative is U.S. President Barack Obama’s signature program to harness the extraordinary potential of youth in the region to address critical challenges to issues ranging from the economy to environment.
