Ray Ban Microsite
Billy Blue College of Design Project 2012
Task; To find a current brand and one of their major products and build a microsite using Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Flash. This mircosite had to promote their product through a competition.
I Chose to promote the famous sunglass frame designed by Ray Ban, the Wayfarer.
The design thinking behind my microsite was to represent the personality and the heritage of the sunglasses. This included it's affiliation with the celebrities of the world and its classic and forever young frame style.
The Microsite depicts a vintage paperazzi vibe mixed with current celebrities and polaroid pictures. The site takes inspiration from such celebrities as Marilyn Monroe for its overall colour scheme whilst taking the strong elements from the Ray Ban Brand to complete the site.
