ChilliTickets is the no.1 online South Asian ticket box office that connects events to people. Established in 2005 to provide a safe and convenient place to buy tickets to events within the UK's South Asian community, ChilliTickets quickly became a household name.

The aim of the project was to redesign and modernise the ChilliTickets website without impacting it's brand presence and core functionality. This was achieved by first stripping out any obsolete code and restructuring all the content within the Bootstrap 3.0 framework to create a responsive application which enables the user to truly get the latest news and tickets while on the go.

Being a household name—with its logo featured on a number of flyers and tv adverts—it was important to keep an element of familiarity with the new branding. The signature red and black wordmark was modernised yet subtle enough to be rolled out gradually without affecting the brand's positioning.

One of the key requirements for the redesign was the make the process of buying event tickets as quick and easy as possible and ensure that the user experience was consistent across all devices.

Using the rounded red rectangle behind the word Chilli in the logo as a starting point, other elements of the branding were created which tie in with this shape and also allude to the concept of 'Digital' with patterns that emulate pixels and sound.
