Ashworth engaged MAG to develop concepts for a full brand revitalization. We identified a few imperatives. Freshen up an older golf brand while acknowledging it’s authentic history, connect with a younger audience and embrace current mobile/social media trends. We developed a mobile web experience that allowed consumers to easily identify the new Ashworth product line the players are wearing on the course and easily purchase it through the web app. A style guide for the brand, allowing users to match tour styles through their smartphone or tablet, making it easy to purchase and suggest additional items from the product line – specifically focused on the Cardiff line of golf shoes. A personal Ashworth shopper for the golf course. If we were playing a round of golf, we just stuck it next to the pin for bird – we’ll take the skin.
