This small gem of a museum is a center for Japanese art and culture with a noteworthy stroll garden. They were in need of a member’s invitation to the Spring Gala and a program that would detail events at the museum, in the garden and on the dining terrace. This rolling fold piece does double duty as the invite and program, pairing a series of typographic headlines with information and Japanese icons. As the program unfolds, the story of the museum unfolds with it. With an RSVP card and envelope held in place inside, and a clear wafer sealing the piece, this became a self-mailer. One color printing added to the cost effective requirements. The simplicity and color of the Japanese aesthetic is reflected throughout.
