Toris forms are based on Japanese architectural elements, such as the relation between columns and curved planes, the overhanging parts, or the rounded forms against straight vertical lines. Despite its apparent simplicity, Tori is full of details: the joints between beams and legs, the ensemble among the back support and the rear legs, or the beam that supports the seat and crosses the whole chair.
