Le jeune Homme project

Description project bachmors  Le jeune homme (I'm seeking an art patron )

First of all the essence of this project is show the conceptual and temporary processes in gallery  space.

First process is the short time frame of Jean Cocteau’s mimodrame “le jeune homme et la mort” which premiered in Paris theatre Les Champs Elisees on Juny 25, 1946.

Second process is historical development of this composition.

There are three choreographies that work in conjunction to provide a personal meaning of this drame:
Jean Babilée and Natalie Philippart in 1946
Rudolf Nureyev and Zizi Jeanmaire in 1966 and
Mikhail Baryshnikov and Florence Favre in 1985 on “White Nights” film version.

Bachmors author explains their personal vision with shapes and pigments for each of them.
A performance: dance, theatre, cinema and paint in  the space.

This space depicts the simultaneous knowledge opening in the author’s mind that vibrate at the same time the makers (the writer, the stage director, the dancers), the parts of the work, the characters duality, the feelings transmission, the personal relationships, etc.

These following process deals with the feelings: wait, anguish, depression, love, rejection, suffering, hope. These feelings are located through the dancers poses.

A diagonally raw of 12 sheets shows on one side the figurative and expressionism dancers poses, on the other side displays the artistic styles evolution: realism, impressionism, symbolism, cubism, futurism, surrealism, etc.

Consequently next process is crucial in transmitting ideas, thoughts and knowledge: the movement transference of the Jean Cocteau’s libretto and Roland Petit’s choreography in static space.

The project author has added your ideas for enriching this play and showing the artistic work changes as time goes on.
