A curatorial project directed by Emilia Moniszko and co-directed by Rob Hamp. This project has emerged from a growing cultural sector response to Eastern and Central European migrations and their implications for cultural policy, particularly in cities.
Through this intervention we transformed the exhibition space The Glass Box Gallery into an intersection of East and West, where the audience can experience and engage with the realities (both current and potential) of this interconnection. The two sides strive to highlight their identities in a current political climate of flux and uncertainty. The reality of a huge East-West demographic coming together.
