Using Shapes Composition

Purpose
The purpose of this project was to introduce the students to the use of Photoshop's and Illustrator's shapes tool, layering, pathfinder tool, and dozens of other tools that someone needs in order to make compositions for graphic design.
Requirements
Each of the four parts required the use of the shapes in the image below. The only other requirement is to not use each shape more than eight times. The reason for this was to prevent the designs from being overly complicated as well as being too large for uploading.
Part One
Sketches
When designing this composition the first step was to create 48 thumbnail sketches. These sketches could either be abstract or recognizable images. Many of the sketches that I drew were more recognizable images than abstract. This is due to my engineering and highly organized mindset.
Compositions
The final requirement for this first portion of the project was to create three different compositions that would be critiqued by my peers as well as the professor. These final compositions are just the first stepping stones of the project.
Part Two
Sketches
Much like the last portion of this project I was tasked with sketching new thumbnails after receiving critiques from my peers and professor.
Part Three
Compositions
After receiving critiques on my previous sketches I produced the following six compositions. These six compositions were also critiqued by my peers and professor.
Part Four
The last five compositions are based off of the critiques from the previous set of compositions. This last set of compositions lead to my final composition.
Final Composition
The duration of the project was four weeks which lead to my final composition. Which is a culmination of all the critiques that I have received from my peers and professor over the course of this project.
