So, over at The Designers League they do a series called "Word of the Week" (#WotW). WotW is a twice-monthly design challenge put on by The Designers League admins. They give you a word as inspiration, you use your design minds in any way you see fit! This week's word is "Refresh". Now, I don't usually do these little projects, but decided to this time.

Hope you like them!

Here's their Facebook page.

1. Using 100% cyan and 100% magenta overlaying one another to get a crisp blue. You'll notice a common theme in 1-3 and how I made "refresh" appear.
2. I've used the yellow and white typography on a black background before and really like the way these two colors compliment each other.
3. A stand alone white type on a slight orange background. It's fun and hope you like it.
4. Taking cues off the "Greetings from Austin" wall mural, I live in Austin, TX, This one turned out rather nicely. I used a lot of common Austin themes in the lettering. From live music and local spots to state symbols and UT football, I pulled themes from the richness of Texas.
