Visual identity proposition for the Finnish Cultural Foundation’s Finland’s 100 year anniversary project for 8th graders that introduces them to different cultural institutions all around the country. The main attraction of the project is the access behind the curtains of each institution, ie the “backstage”. This is shown in the logo by the spotlight that divides the character 8 in two halves, representing both the visible side to the public and the backstage that is illuminated, revealing the letter B of the wordmark. This concept has also been used in the posters. The logo is accompanied by the slogan that means “Inside the culture”, which plays on the backstage rhetoric, as well as having a meaning of "in the know of the culture".
