For Kola Premium Cannabis, our goal was to create a marijuana brand that feels modern and sexy, with strong typography and subtle references to the iconic pot plant for an elegant secondary read. The name Kola, referring to the largest, tallest cone of a cannabis plant, is echoed through the placement of the word mark, budding from the end of a stem-like horizontal bar that grows responsively with the shape and size of each product. At the very tip of the brand, the spur of the letter ‘a’ unfurls with the serrate edge of a marijuana leaf.
The box of capsules shines with a bold area of beautiful holographic foil, blooming in prismatic colours out of a rich black background, the brand climbing around the corners for an engaging, wrap-around tactile experience.
Kola's secondary product line is organic fertilizer, which required a similar premium feel to the capsules.
