A redefinição do logo e de toda a identidade visual do Renovóleo foi o propósito do nosso trabalho de conclusão de curso do Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo. A proposta escolhida pelo grupo envolvia uma forma de como o design gráfico poderia contribuir como uma ferramenta para conscientizar os moradores da cidade de São Paulo sobre os impactos do meio ambiente e como pequenos hábitos fazem a diferença.
The logo redefinition and the whole visual identity of Renovóleo was the purpose of our final project of University Center of Fine Arts of São Paulo. Our project shows a way how graphic design can contribute as a tool to create awareness among the residents of the city of São Paulo about the impacts of the environment and how difference can be made changing small habits.

O Renovóleo é uma das atividades econômicas do Renovatio, que é uma ONG na qual possui 3 pilares: o sustentável, o social e o econômico, ou seja, não pode viver de doação, ele deve gerar o próprio sustento. No Renovóleo, esses três pilares são aplicados. O pilar sustentável, porque o projeto evita que o óleo seja descartado incorretamente, entupindo a tubulação do prédio e poluindo o meio ambiente. O pilar
econômico, porque o óleo é coletado, armazenado em um galão, e depois vendido para uma empresa que transforma esse óleo em biocombustível, e desse valor recebido paga os empregados, que são os beneficiados da ONG. E esse é o pilar
social: a ONG contrata ex-moradores de rua, que residem em um abrigo da região, para fiscalizar e recolher os óleos dos pontos de coleta, e levar para o armazenamento, que fica próximo ao local. Ele possui uma rota por dia para checar a quantidade de óleos coletadas dos prédios e, quando cheias, ele transporta o óleo em uma bicicleta com uma carreta atrás e coloca outra vazia no lugar.

The sustainable pillar avoids the kitchen oil to be discarded incorrectly, clogging the residence's plumbing and pollucting the environment.
The economic pillar collects the oil and stocks it in a gallon and then sells it to a company that transforms it in biofuel and with this
income pays its employees. And this is the social pillar: the NGO hires homeless people living in a shelter nearby to supervise and collect the
oil disposed at the collecting centers and transport it to a storage nearby.
Their daily route includes checking the quantity of oil bottles disposed from the buildings and transporting them in a bicycle with a cart attached to it.

O logotipo foi construido pensando em proporcionar uma sensação visual de equilíbrio e harmonia, possuindo formas orgânicas e leves.
As letras escritas em amarelo possuem a espessura levemente maior que as outras. O tamanho do símbolo deve ser sempre proporcional ao resto do logotipo, obtendo a distância de uma haste das letras em cinza partindo delas próprias. E terminar alinhada com o L.
The logo was buildt under the idea of creating a balance and harmony visual sensation, with organic and light shapes.
The letters written in yellow are slightly thicker than the others. The size of the symbol must always be proportional in comparision to the rest of the logo, having the distance of a stem from the letters in gray, starting from the letter itself aligned to the letter L.
