Inspired in some fantastic beings (humans and animals), using wood textures, photographs of human and bull skulls, a beard from a male model, also some gothic tapestry and rusted metal textures.

Using some matte painting techniques, multiple color and adjustment layers, using a Wacom Intuos Pen & Touch Tablet.

The wooden shield form was first vectorized using Adobe Illustrator, inspired in some combat shields from the middle ages and viking cultures
