Chosen by Consul General for Malta in Victoria Mr Charles Mifsud to be part of the Malta George Cross 70th anniversary organising Committee.

The organising committee consisted of Mr Mifsud as chair, Dr Edwin Borg-Manché, Ms Georgina Borg, Mr Paul Borg, Mrs Frances Bonnici, Mr Mario Bonnici, Ms Sandra Mooney and myself Martin Bonnici. Assisting the organising committee was SBS Radio Maltese language program senior producer, Ms Marlene Galea.

The series of events were to help the Maltese Community in Victoria commemorate the 70th anniversary of the award of the George Cross to the Islands of Malta and Gozo.

Centrepiece of the Malta George Cross 70th anniversary was the Photographic exhibition.

Through Martin Bonnici Photography I was able to directly sponsor the Malta George Cross exhibition both fanatically and support other events with photojournalism skills to supply images for the Malta GC website, Face Book page as well as images for press release purposes. I was also able to assist in an audiovisual project connected to the Malta GC anniversary.

This was a consular initiative developed and lead by Consul General for Malta in Victoria Mr Charles Mifsud as a gift to the people and Maltese community of Victoria.
