Love by Design
This was a logo was a poster submission for the AIGA's Love by Design fundraiser for OneOrlando, a non profit set up in response to the shootings at the Pulse nightclub in where 49 people died.
Since my bus to work takes me over the Golden Gate bridge I started by looking at it as a rainbow in the fog.
Next I started playing with the letters as if they loved each other and came up with a heartbeat/pulse.
The pun of using a pulse as the nightclub's name was also 'Pulse' was too much so I re-examined the type for minimalism.
I added a heart but then scaled it back for minimalism.
Ta da! The final poster submitted.
