I Can Go Without

I joined I Can Go Without as Art Director after the initial first round of funding. I had worked with the founders prior to their funding round to help build an exciting video to explain the product to potential investors.

My goals when joining the company were to bring a sleek design to the mobile application, as well as build a fun, approachable all around brand that would help bring the founders' vision to life.
Developing the identity

Over the two years I spent at I Can Go Without, I developed an organic, bright identity that meshed with a sleek, modern look we had developed for the application. Later, this visual identity would lend itself to the powerful web tools we began developing, allowing charities to claim their page, organize their efforts and recruit people to raise money for the causes they cared about most.
Bringing the brand to life

I wanted to bring an exciting feel to the app and to the brand and one of the tools I chose for this was motion. Bringing the logo to life was a very fun challenge.
Custom Iconography

I Can Go Without focused on direct giving to actual causes. We focused on improving charity in a number of real-world sectors. I developed a set of icons that would represent each of these fields and fit within the ICGW ecosystem.
Spreading the word

We teamed up with Breakfast Clubs of Canada to build a video that would help us promote and advance both their cause as well as our app. This was a particularly fun challenge for me as I was able to use a mix of skills to produce this video.

Have a look!
