My proposal for the take ten contest theme "weightless". I am a bubbles-bubbly person, so I made bubbles. That's how I read it: the tree elements air, water and Earth in 3 bubbles that are like flowers, hugged by a feathers that makes them weightless. The feathers are decored with patterns each with a different one and the stem is from the feathers too. That different pattern on the feather would represent individuality - we are all different though all the same, three different elements, three different decors but all in our bubbles with our own feather to lift us up. I try to make them look like three different bubble-flowers and to keep them together on bottom, a feather that flies away with them - a form of surrealism that could enforce the sense of lightness for me.

 

Not a fan of very saturated colors, so I went for more delicate nounces. That would strenthen the sense of lack of weight for me - soft colors are delicate in my view, and tells more about being light - just my own sensibility
