For a medical application (exclusively for healthcare professionals) we made this short animation to promote the drug "Viekirax" and "Exviera". This drug is developed by the biopharmaceutical company AbbVie and is working against hepatitis C. The big challange in this promo was to blend the different 3D scenes and live action shoot in one silky smooth camera move. Also the organic movement and exploding virus was a challenge in 3D. A combination of different simulation techniques (hair, cloth, dynamics and Turbulence FD smoke) did the job. The design of the virus is based on documents we got from AbbVie.
