Initially i created a 3D animated version of the title but it was a working title and it changed few times so i had to find a faster solution that will also relate to the text animations on lower-thirds and bugs.
Here is a sketch of my first ideas for the opener.
I delivered a background loop by cleaning parts of this stock photo and added atmosphere and sky animation plus flashes and animated flares
