Each year, Kooyong winery releases a new vintage of their single vineyard varieties of wines. In early 2011 I was approached to work on producing illustrations for this particular year. As the event was to be held in an elegant Japanese restaurant, I was to take inspiration from traditional Japanese woodblock printing — while maintaining a modern colour palette.
