Charles Jensen Arizona's profile

Volunteer Opportunities with Habitat for Humanity

Charles Jensen is the national founder and president of Politics on the Rocks, the largest Republican and conservative networking organization in Arizona, with monthly networking events and more than 100,000 members. A recipient of the Cutting Edge Award from the Arizona Republican Party in both 2014 and 2015, Charles Jensen serves as vice president of Inland Securities Corporation. He is also a supporter of various charities, including Habitat for Humanity.

A nonprofit entity that envisions a world where everyone has a suitable place to live, Habitat for Humanity relies heavily on the generous contributions of both time and money from the community. For those interested in a hands-on experience, Habitat offers a number of programs for all ages.

Individuals interested in long-term volunteer service can elect to participate in the US Volunteer Program, where they can serve two to six months, or to join the International Volunteer Program, which sends volunteers all around the world for service lasting six months to one year. Younger community members can get involved through one of the many youth programs, which include Collegiate Challenge and Youth United, and are appropriate for children as young as 5 years old. Other programs include Women Build, Veterans Build, and A Brush with Kindness.
