Every day the life of Sommer Davis seems like an impossible task, but this freshman at LSU makes it work.
She rises early to get ready for her routine on Tuesdays. This day is the most entertaining because of Wine Night at JL’s. She sets out her outfit for that night as she gets dressed for her morning classes.

The LSU quad is a magnificent view according to Davis, and it’s the best blessing she has in the morning.

“The squirrels are my children I feel,” Davis stated as she walked between classes. She gives them treats when she sees the rodents and is always caught talking to them.

The second-best part of a Tuesday in Sommer Davis’ life is the fine dining experience of Chick Fil A bought in the LSU Student Union. The chicken sandwich is her favorite and is always accompanied by fries and a Coca-Cola from the soda dispenser. She reminds to never forget the free sauce of choice.

The day starts slowing down after her last class. She arrives back at her dorm to run and clear her mind before beginning homework. The trails around the University Lakes are her favorite and she runs a four-mile route.

Bio-Chemistry is Davis’ most dreaded subject but manages to get great feedback on tests. Homework pays off for her; Davis was on the Dean’s List for the first semester of college.

The outfit Davis set out earlier that morning is watching her finish her sociology homework. She uses small things as motivation to get her through the day, and this translates into finishing it quickly after the remembrance of JL’s.

Davis and her friends catch a ride to Tigerland, for JL’s. She sips wine so elegantly! Her day is perfectly spent being a scholar and party-going teen at the same time.
