This was created in UMSL's Imagemaking class in the spring of 2010. I worked with Jack Morris, John Mueller, and Kelly Campbell to create this environmental type. We decided that we wanted to somehow use light, and chose the word "fab", both as an ode to the Fine Arts Building, and the word fabulous.  To illuminate Fab, we first made custom typography and then arranged and modified candles to fit within the type.  Once we were finished setting up, we invited our classmates to help us light the candles and slowly bring it to life.
