We were given a choice of different texts to choose from and had to develop an illustrated book to display the narrative. "The Jabberwocky" by Lewis Carrol immediately stood out to me; this short poem held this huge scope and story which really grabbed my attention and had me hooked on it. I decided to go at the illustrations in an almost Frank Miller Sin City direction, do have a really bold and captivating visual language to showcase the poem.
The Project brief had us complete only 3 full artworks for the book so the rest of them are roughs.
