A hypnic jerk is the sudden twitch when one is about to fall asleep after having the sensation of falling in a dream. This is a short animated film I have been working on for my Intro to Animation Techniques class at RISD. It is an entirely pen and marker rotoscope animation of footage of William and his hypnic adventures with a little twist at the end.
