Mass Mosaic - Website designs

Old Mass Mosaic whiteboard mockups with Jae Verner.   I was homeless and lived on his couch.  We spend months exploring this “conscious media company.” At this time, I was studying the information architecture and feature sets of 100+ online social and networks and media sharing platforms. Circa the web 2.0 rapid growth in 2006.
After unsuccessfully working with an ad agency, I started designing the site myself using iWeb. (Remember iWeb? :) I loved that platform. It was like photoshop but also gave you basic interactivity for a web mockup... and much faster.

Here’s v8 of the designs I did for Mass Mosaic. Minimal style… Circa 2007
I did this while in the cabin at some friends house. It's now in buddypress and being tested by Eric and I.
Here's version 9, which was partially inspired by the minimal aesthetic of google.com.

Probably 2012.
Here is v16 of a full site design for Mass Mosaic (where I’m a co-founder).  Later, we redirected our designs, making these obsolete.
The orange period
Here are local homepage variations I did for Mass Mosaic. We translated the website into 10 languages, and paired with imagery for different niches.
