Challenge
LA-based filmmaker John Carr, needed a film title logo and posters that brought out the atmosphere of his short horror film.
Insight
The film is about a desperate girl who seeks work through the help wanted section of a local paper that leads her to a vintage relic museum and an unsettling curator. Soon after her arrival, the girl is locked in for the night and things are far from what they seem within the neon shop of horrors. The film was shot in the Valley Relics Museum, where neon lighting plays a large role.
Impact
Inspired by the neon sign boards in the film, we created a movie logo and set of posters that communicated the quiet horror and atmospheric thrill of the film. This was used widely in their promotions and on their website and social media.
