Seeing the above tweet, I was intrigued by a problem that I had often grumbled to friends about...Dribbble often isn't used for its original purpose of soliciting feedback on work in progress.

While Dribbble has grown into something amazing (and I would never advocate to get rid of or replace it), it did raise the broader question of how one might supplement or increase their current levels of peer feedback.

In response, I sat down and tried to define the issue of peer feedback, lay out some assumptions/hypotheses about feedback and opportunities related to it and sketched out a potential solution (along with possible avenues for expansion/monetization of the concept. After creating this scoping document, I then created a Typeform survey to test some of the hypotheses.

While I'm not currently pursuing the project (due mainly to bandwidth concerns rather than a lack of an actionable opportunity or interest), I'm quite happy with the scoping work and initial research (performed over the course of about a week).

View the survey and results.
