is the result of the workshop Over- and Underground Signs - Learning from Sofia
with Jens Schildt and Matthias Kreutzer - part of the
Summer school for Creative Thinking and Design Processes -
KNOW-HOW / SHOW-HOW 2015
Our task was to observe different parts of the city of Sofia and to find
non alphabetical signs as a base for creating a new non alphabetical font.
And so our journey in the Borissova Garden began.
What we noticed: The human intervened the nature. But the nature took over humanity.
So we created a new negative space font combining
the concrete shapes created by human hand in the garden
in combination with natural free forms.
Looking for the collaboration,
the fight or the new growing symbiosis/relationship.
