This is an in-game render of the first few characters from an upcoming game by Facepunch Studios called Deuce.
I have been working on this game for the past year and I am happy to be showing some of the stuff that I have been doing for it (there is more to come!).
I have been responsible for the character designs from concept to screen, and also the development of the games art style which is intentionally illustrative, painterly and loose.
From the left we have TENN-15, Igor, Mavis, Elvis and finally Lion-El (possibly not final names!).
In case you haven't guessed it's a tennis game, but unlike any tennis game you have played before.
Outrageous characters, ludicrous courts (created by Matt Issac) and ridiculous gameplay (coded by Ian James).
