To promote Fedrigoni’s new shade of black paper ‘Siro Ultra Black’ I have designed a tool that would be appreciated and used by designers. I have created a wall calendar, with a specifically chosen typeface ‘Ostrich Sans’ and is laid out to create the illusion of a starry sky from a distance.
My calendar would be hung in-front of light or a window, blocking light, to enhance the idea that black absorbs all colour. The laser-cut letters will illuminate with the light behind presenting an aesthetically pleasing 2015 calendar to be enjoyed by designers in their studios.
