AXE Body Spray product launch in Dominican Rep. May 2005.

UNILEVER had to introduce its AXE Body Spray to the Dominican market. A product which had its limitations
in a machista society; it is not a perfume nor a deodorant. It is a body spray, similar to the "body splash" women use.

Innova Marketing Group recommended us to create and promote an event for +3,000 people. We had creative and logistic control and basically did everything except the executive production for which our friends at Innova Marketing Group were responsible.

We designed a radio, web and print teaser campaign to create a buzz and awareness towards the event. A week before the party, details were released. It was a free party with an online registration requisite. In 4 days we had to close the registration process. Our 3,500 registration quota had been exceeded. Additional tickets were handed out on a personal basis to avoid an assistance overflow.

To distribute these entrance tickets we teamed up with MovieMax, a local movie rental business with 4 stores in Santo Domingo and 1 in Santiago, the second largest city in the country. They are now one of the biggest event ticket distributors in the country as Uepa Tickets @MovieMax.
The final result was a +6,000 people party with Erick Morillo at Caribbean Sun. E! Entertainment TV was here to document the event. It was the most successful party in 2005 and is still remembered as one of the best parties of all time.
