The Ideation Design Group design team spearheaded the interior architecture and design for the hotel’s lobby, 180 guest rooms including 7 VIP rooms and presidential suite, 30,000 square foot conference center and two onsite restaurants. The hotel also includes a resort style pool area, fitness center, an on-site salon and full-service Starbucks cafe. Ideation’s Foodservice division worked with the team to design the restaurants’ kitchen areas. One restaurant is an upscale-casual sports bar theme, while the other is an elegant steakhouse. The four-story 160,000 square foot hotel is nestled between the new Chicago Cubs’ spring training facility and Riverview Park in Mesa, Arizona. Ideation Design Group accomplished their design vision using a warm desert color palette and avoiding a kitschy southwestern vibe. The fast-tracked project broke ground Spring of 2014 and opened Spring of 2015!
