Creative-items produced for a UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) endorsed marketing campaign, the “Authentic Maldivian Handicraft”. The campaign has the following aims:-
1) Promote Handicrafts as a Livelihood Activity in the Maldivian island communities
2) Promote Partnership among tourist resorts and island communities
3) Revive local culture, identity and tradition
NOTE. The posters, interactive maps, product labels, etc. were produced by the handicraftsmen themselves by photocopying/printing onto recycled cheap paper. Predesigned templates were provided and design/communication workshops were conducted.
