I do not usually draw architecture, but the Mosque of Cordoba is a stunning place, so I could not resist making a watercolor of the interior. Then I show the process of watercolor, I enjoyed a lot with it and hope you enjoy it as much as me ;)
I began with an initial sketch. I wanted to represent the Arab part of the mosque and its impressive room full of arches and columns.
First step: The foreground. I used a tone very clearly. The background is more obscure to give depth to the picture.
The secret is to have patience also ;)
And finally this is the result!
