From the beginning of the project I have been keeping track of the different lines that I have completed and yet to completed, also any of the parts that I am thinking might work to repeat. Below is the lyrics done in the format in which I use them, this lyric sheet had become something that I update everytime I work on my Kinetic.

 

The lyrics below look a little odd but with explaination hopefully people can see method to my madness.

So the lyrics in italic are lines that I have done, these are parts that I have completed but not necessarily in order. The lyrics in bold are the ones that I have yet to do. This acts as a checklist for me.

 

You will also notice the varying colours in the lyrics, these are to match certain parts together, this acts like a note to me that I have chosen certain parts where the lyrics are repeated that I think I will repeat a previous composition. 

 

I have a feeling this may cause a problem later with colour transitions but I'm planning on blocking out the whole song and going back to alter colours when needed. the colours indicate when a previous comp should be repeated.

 

Slowly I'm making my way through it. 

 

I'm having a little trouble with coming up with some ideas for my last verse, I want to build to something, ort conclude an idea that I have running throughout my piece,

 

Also the requirement for a 3D Object oir Green Screen, not really sure what will best suit this. I'm not sure about having a 3D element as my design is flat but then again something 3D may shake it up.

Been working on verse 4, which I now hae fully complete and I'm hoping I can re-use this verse again later as its repeated. I was having a little trouble trying to change from blue to grenn, will still need to tweak it but its getting there. Need to refine it later on timings too.

Playing around with the fact I want to repeat it, I've noticed that this verse comes up four times throughout the song but I dont want to repeat the exact same one each time, so I have gone off and created an alternative one using track matte and colour blend modes. This allows me to have the same comp but in a different set of colours, Im hoping this will work but not too sure. Kind of questioning will it be too repeative still and whether I need to create a whole new comp for atleast two of the four times this verse appears. Here is the alternative colour. i've tried to stick with my colour scheme of pink and blue for these.

Been working on a new scene, I'm wanted to play around with the idea of crime tape, the fact that the lyrics are Dont you know that your toxic  wanted to create something that reminder people of staying away, to keep away.

Been working on the introduction, still not fully done and debating with myself whether to add something in the inbetween or not, sometimes I think no because its nice to have that break in between and puts more focus on them but then I cant figure out is just to empty in the spaces between and do I need to do something. The introduction in approx. 14 seconds long.

 

 

I have completed this project - Toxic Kinetic Text. In the future there are some tweaks that I would like to make but overall I learned so much about After Effects, Kinetic Text and Video.

 

I am happy with the outcome of the final piece. I have had the opportunity to apply new learnings and develop a style for this project. In this project I have had to opportunity to learn more about particals, incorporating 3D and working with 3D cameras and layers. I have found this project very benefical and would be interesting in completing a simliar project in the future.
