Dredd process
I make this on a letter sized canvas, using standard brushes (Hard & Soft Round Pressure Opacity) in PS CS6 + some Liquify here and there to fix perspective. The background was made using several layers of gradient areas + blending modes.

Not as tough as the other guys but... this one was the first character that I tried to paint... I choose a simple design to gain some confidence! :)

The second character, this time trying to study light trough a black and white reference. Same basic brushes.
My tablet is a simple Genius Graphic Tablet 4x3 that I had since my pixel art years.
