Sunday
This is a story about a village in the north Serbia which is told through the lives of five families, families who live in the same street, the same street where I've grew up. In Serbia Sunday lunch is very important. It's time when every member is at home and it's time for rest. Čurug is a village in the north of Serbia. It counts more than 8000 residents. People are mostly farmers. In the summer we swim in the Tisa river. Dogs are meant to guard houses, cats are meant to hunt mice and pig is meant to be eaten. On Sundays, the whole family is together, so mom makes a big lunch. Soup, sauce, meat and potato.
Everybody loves Sundays.
