The name Transverse is an amalgamation of the words "translate" and "converse", but also points to the app's goal of bridging cultures by breaking language barriers.
The login/sign up screen also allows the user to directly look up words in the dictionary.
The dictionary seach field is visible in any of the four bottom tab views.
When the dictionary search field is tapped or dragged up, the full dictionary view becomes visible, along with a button in the upper left corner to switch between dictionaries.
The colored line on the right edge can be dragged over to the left edge to enter the quick-translate mode in a chat view.
In the quick-translate mode, a translation modal pops up when any word is tapped.
