Architecture Portfolio Design | Project 01
Detailed description of how I designed my architecture portfolio. The portfolio is designed for online presentation & digital distribution. It contains a total of 5 projects. Each project is presented in four to six A4 sized, facing pages.
In the first section you can see the facing pages presentation, while in the second part there is a short time-lapse video of the photo editing process I followed for the illustration. Finally, there is the original material I used for this presentation: The detailed plans, sections & elevations that were submitted for the thesis, in high resolution.

I captured this short time-lapse video to demonstrate the editing process I followed for the illustration of my final thesis in my architecture portfolio.
The shot was taken in my room, without any special lighting or setup. The conditions were far from ideal, so it needed a lot of editing, which, as it tunred out, was not a disadvantage, as the heavy editing was an inevitable part of creating a more illustration-like feel.
I used the image as a foundation, on which I redrew most of it in Photoshop; I added shadows, glazing, people and trees, I also added a new background and lighting conditions to create a whole new environment.
