BrewDog Sessions (2015)
I was asked to design a poster for the first of a weekly event at BrewDog in Newcastle. The poster also needed a logo that can be used each week on different posters.
The night will feature a variety of different live music each week, so the design needed to be versatile but reflect the two important motifs: alcohol and music.
I was given a sparse brief. I was given the title, the location and told it will feature "beer and music".
I was sent this image of a Dustin OHalloran album as inspiration - I tried to emulate the hand-drawn nature of the piano in my keyboard logo.
My finished poster - it reflects the simple hand-drawn style of the album I was sent, and remains versatile so information can be changed and added each week
