Here is a variety of colour palettes I considered. I wanted something that was different and strong but not your typical neon yellow or orange that one might consider for something in relation to Toxic. It was because these kind of colours that first came to mind that made me rethink a colour strategy. I wanted something that stood out and was unexpected. 

Here is the colour palette I settled on. I felt by incorporating the blue and pink, it made it striking, different and unsual for my song choice. I felt it was important to include two shades of pink and blue as it could provide me more scope in incorporating them together.

 

 

 

 

To really assess my colour palette and the style I want for my video I made up some style frames. Below are my style frames.

 

Playing around with an effect I'm thinking of using in my Kinetic text project. Not sure whether the timing is right but its not refined yet so I'm not too worried. This video is for the lyric line - I'm falling

 

I've completed 8 seconds of my kinetic text, the first version I felt the words had movement and conveyed what i wanted, but I also felt it would get boring, the song is very lively and has drive and striking instrumental components but I felt that the first version lacked something strong with a bit of a punch. To overcome this, I found sudden camera movements such as zooming in and out at certain musical ques gave the video a pulse and the punchy-ness I wanted and felt was needed to make the piece more dynamic. Been stuck on the lines- With a taste of you're lips, I'm on a ride.... But this morning I got an idea, not sure about, and played around with a mask to achieve it

 

 

 

Just finished the second verse - still working on transition and the trnasition between the different colours.

 

 

Here is the full first 3 verse of the song, they need to be refined, more transition and changing on colour need more consideration.

 

 

I found time recently to make a few small changes to the first three verses, most is the same but some smalll teaks such as added background, finished the T in the word Hit and other small things.
