potluck is the cookbook of today - we make it easier than hosting a potluck to document your cooking and share recipes. Potluck is a tried and true form of an infinite, updatable virtual cookbook enriched with photographs, videos and message clips.
The home screen contains your cookbooks - swipe right to scroll through. The small cauldron symbol on the book indicates a new recipe has been added by one of your "Potluckers".
Clicking on a cookbook takes you to the recipe index. Here, you can add a new recipe,
view existing recipes, or view saved recipe drafts. Potluck has a chat feature that allows
you to interact with the Potluckers you share cookbooks with.
Click on a recipe to read it, swipe right to scroll through the steps. Tap the tab on the left to expand
the ingredient list. The chefs hat icon gives you the authors tips and notes.
This screen pops up when you click on add a recipe or the '+' symbol at the end of each categories recipe list. Existing categories show up in the drop down menu. In the write something space you can add a short tag line for the recipe - for instance it can say 'easy to make' or 'grandmas secret recipe'
Add / edit your ingredient list at any time by expanding/collapsing the ingredients tab on the left.
At each step you can add a photo, type in a description, add a video or an audio clip to
document and share your recipes.
Click on the plus sign to add another step or the check mark to indicate you are finished with the recipe.
